For the past four years, Rooftop Films has been run by a volunteer collective of five people. In that time, the organization has grown to where, in 2003, we showed 169 movies to nearly 3,000 people at our summer film festival.
In preparation for our 2004 Summer Series, we are seeking applicants for four unpaid positions to round out our staff and grow the organization even further. We are looking for individuals who are committed, driven, intelligent, and motivated. We prefer people who are familiar with Rooftop Films but that is not required; relevant experience is also helpful, but not a requirement for all positions. This is a tremendous opportunity to contribute in a crucial way to one of the most dynamic film festivals in New York.
All positions are unpaid for now, but have a chance to grow into paid positions. We are looking for a minimum 4-6 month commitment for each.
